Creative Teaching Assistant – Flexible Hours for Performers

About the role
We are looking for creative performers who want to combine their artistic talents with flexible teaching assistant work in a London primary school. The role fits around auditions and professional commitments while offering a rewarding chance to inspire young learners.
Key responsibilities
- Support early years (3‑5) children with play‑based learning, phonics and basic numeracy.
- Assist KS1/KS2 classrooms in English, maths and other subject activities.
- Provide tailored support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
- Help teachers prepare materials and manage classroom routines.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and follow safeguarding procedures.
Required profile
- Passionate about working with children and education.
- Flexible schedule that can accommodate auditions and gigs.
- Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
- Willingness to complete the Philosophy Education registration process.
Required skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creative thinking and the capacity to engage children.
