Creative Venue Technician Apprentice (Level 3)

About the role

Join Disney Theatrical Group as a Creative Venue Technician Apprentice and work behind the scenes of West End productions. Over two years you will develop practical backstage skills across multiple technical departments while studying towards a Level 3 apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians in stage, costume, lighting, automation, sound and puppetry departments.
• Support the set‑up, operation and maintenance of technical equipment during rehearsals and performances.
• Rotate through different backstage areas to gain a broad understanding of live theatre production.
• In the second year, focus on one chosen department to deepen expertise.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old by the start date.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• No existing qualification in a closely related subject.
• GCSE English and Maths (grade 4 or above) or equivalent.
