Credit Control Analyst

About the role

Join Gallagher as a Credit Control Analyst and play a vital part in ensuring timely payments from clients and brokers. You will support financial operations, mitigate risk, and contribute to the company’s growth while working within a collaborative, integrity‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Chase outstanding premiums from clients and brokers, both direct and B2B.
• Manage company debt in line with policies to meet performance targets.
• Produce and issue regular client statements of accounts.
• Maintain accurate client and business records.
• Escalate issues to the Team Leader within reasonable timescales.
• Reconcile and settle debtor and creditor ledger balances.
• Assist with resolving unallocated cash and provide feedback on mis‑postings.
• Support the business with collection process queries and hold stakeholder forums.
• Provide monthly debtors’ status reports and updates on outstanding premiums.
• Process payment requests according to Gallagher policy.
• Facilitate training and support for less experienced team members.
• Ensure compliance with Gallagher’s Professional Standards Manual and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Prior experience in credit control or strong customer‑service background (e.g., call centre, sales administration, hospitality, retail).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy and the ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders.
