Credit Control Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Credit Control Manager to join a leading food manufacturing and wholesale business in Poole. The role combines hands‑on credit control activities with leadership of a small team, offering autonomy and clear progression within a fast‑growing company.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day credit control tasks, including debt collection and payment allocation.
• Lead and develop a tight‑knit team of three credit control professionals.
• Prepare and analyse credit control reports, recommending actions to senior leadership.
• Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Liaise with key stakeholders and senior management to align credit policies.

Required profile

• Experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar credit management role.
• Desire to balance hands‑on work with team leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to commute to Poole, Dorset.
