Credit Control Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead the credit function for a well‑established business in Aylesford. You will own the end‑to‑end credit control process, work closely with senior management, and drive improvements in cash flow and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the day‑to‑day credit control function.
• Lead, motivate and develop the credit control team.
• Monitor aged debt and implement effective collection strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure timely payments.
• Review and improve existing credit control processes and procedures.
• Allocate cash, reconcile accounts and resolve complex queries.
• Produce regular reports on debtor performance and KPIs.
• Collaborate with senior management to reduce risk and improve cash flow.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role, preferably at a supervisory or managerial level.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, driven and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
