Credit Controller – Accounts Receivable

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Credit Controller to join our finance team in Southwest London. Working in a hybrid model, you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely payments while delivering high‑quality service. Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the sales ledger for an assigned portfolio of customers.
• Contact customers by phone and email to collect overdue payments.
• Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Investigate and resolve invoice, payment and account queries.
• Perform credit checks and assist in reviewing credit limits.
• Prepare statements, reports and other finance documentation.
• Support month‑end accounts receivable activities and bank reconciliations.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers while adhering to professional collection practices.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or a related finance role.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive, organised and able to manage own workload.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
