Credit Controller – Construction & FM

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a fast‑growing construction and facilities‑maintenance business in Bolton. You will manage the accounts‑receivable function, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate record‑keeping and strong cash‑flow control.

Key responsibilities

• Process and input sales invoices and credit notes, verifying all details before dispatch.
• Obtain purchase orders and secure invoice sign‑off from clients.
• Maintain the accounts‑receivable inbox, clearing items daily and resolving queries.
• Conduct credit‑control activities, contacting customers by phone and email to chase overdue payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate any discrepancies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit control and accounts‑receivable, preferably within construction or hard FM sectors.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction.
