Credit Controller – Finance Professional

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established client seeking a confident finance professional to join their team as a Credit Controller. This full‑time position offers a blend of office and remote work after a probationary period, providing an excellent entry point for those with experience in finance, debt collection or credit control.

Key responsibilities

• Issue invoices and statements to customers.
• Monitor customer credit limits, obtain credit reports and ensure spend stays within approved limits.
• Process direct debits and card payments.
• Chase remittances and collect overdue debt to minimise bad debt risk.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, liaising with internal and external customers to resolve queries.

Required profile

• Recent experience in finance, accounting admin, debt collection, accounts receivable or credit control.
• Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with clients over the phone.
• Problem‑solving ability and motivation to meet targets.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
