Credit Controller – Financial Accounts Management

About the role

This temporary position as a Credit Controller is based in Bracknell and focuses on managing outstanding debts, reconciling customer accounts, and supporting the finance team. You will work closely with internal colleagues and external clients to ensure timely payments and maintain strong relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage outstanding debts to secure timely payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of client communications and payment agreements.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on aged debtors and payment status.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues.
• Implement and follow company credit policies and procedures.
• Support the accounting and finance department with ad‑hoc tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
