Credit Controller (Fixed-Term)

About the role

Our client is expanding its credit control function and is looking for experienced Credit Controllers to join on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. The role is hybrid, requiring two days a week on‑site in the Emersons Green area of Bristol and the remainder remote.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound credit queries via phone and email, providing clear and empathetic responses.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues, ensuring accurate information is recorded.
• Maintain detailed records of communications and actions taken.
• Support the team in managing an increasing workload while meeting service level targets.
• Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate timely payments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit control or a related finance function.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Calm, problem‑solving approach when dealing with vulnerable customers.
• Comfortable working on a fixed‑term contract that may become permanent.
