Credit Controller – FMCG Drinks

About the role

Our client, a well‑established drinks supplier to venues across the UK, is looking for a full‑time Credit Controller to join their busy credit control department in Tottenham (N17). The role is office‑based and involves managing the end‑to‑end credit process for a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Chase overdue invoices via phone, email and letter within agreed timescales.
• Release held orders daily and process incoming payments.
• Handle disputed bills, negotiate repayment plans and upload relevant information to the insurance portal.
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and perform account reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly, fortnightly and monthly direct‑debit runs and send copy statements.
• Carry out cash posting, allocations and open new accounts with credit checks.
• Progress accounts through the legal process when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in credit control.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Good knowledge of GDPR and Money‑Laundering regulations.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel proficiency.
