Credit Controller (French Speaking) – Temporary

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Credit Controller who is fluent in French to join a small industrial/manufacturing organisation in Gravesend on a temporary basis. The role involves managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of payments while supporting the Accounting & Finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor customer accounts, ensuring invoices are paid on time.
• Communicate with French‑speaking clients to resolve outstanding balances and disputes.
• Monitor credit limits, identify potential risks and flag overdue accounts.
• Prepare and distribute account statements, reminders and other correspondence.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and support ad‑hoc credit control tasks.
• Keep accurate records of transactions and customer communications.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s credit policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Fluency in French, both written and spoken.
• Ability to start on short notice.
