About the role
We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team on a part‑time basis. The role will be based at our Accounts office in Wallingford, Oxon, working 25 hours per week with flexible patterns across five days.
Key responsibilities
- Chase overdue accounts by phone, letter and email for designated depots.
- Open new customer accounts.
- Run credit check reports on individuals and companies.
- Generate query lists for depots.
- Take credit card payments.
- Provide holiday cover for finance colleagues.
- Send copy invoices as required.
- Liaise with depots to resolve or escalate customer queries.
- Support month‑end processes.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a Credit Control role.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of Word.
- Knowledge of Outlook.
