Credit Controller

About the role

Axon Moore Group Ltd is seeking a Credit Controller to join its finance team in central Manchester. You will work in a collaborative, high‑growth environment, reporting to a supportive manager and contributing to the company’s cash‑flow health.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end credit control duties, managing B2B collections via phone and email
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support effective cash collection
• Proactively manage and reduce aged debt
• Resolve customer queries and liaise with internal stakeholders as required
• Perform cash allocation and account reconciliations
• Support weekly/monthly debtor reporting
• Assist with billing processes, including cancellations and adjustments
• Carry out credit checks to assess and minimise risk
• Escalate aged debt to external agencies where appropriate

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable
• Experience working in a B2B environment
• Strong communication skills with a relationship‑driven approach
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach
• Positive, adaptable team player
