Credit Controller

About the role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well‑established and growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and proactive individual with strong sales‑ledger, reconciliation and credit‑control experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full credit control process across a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Chase outstanding debts by telephone, email and written correspondence.
• Investigate and resolve customer invoice and account queries promptly.
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure balances remain within approved credit‑insurer limits.
• Allocate and reconcile customer payments and perform regular sales‑ledger reconciliations.
• Produce aged‑debt reports and highlight potential credit risks.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Credit Controller position with strong sales‑ledger and accounts‑receivable background.
• Proven ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills.
• Experience working with credit‑insurance arrangements is advantageous.
