Credit Controller – Manage Sales Ledger & Collections

About the role

As a Credit Controller you will own an allocated sales ledger, building strong relationships while ensuring timely cash collection. You will work closely with finance, invoicing and treasury teams to keep accounts accurate and support the business’s cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of an allocated sales ledger and manage outstanding debt.
• Contact customers to secure payments while maintaining positive, long‑term relationships.
• Investigate invoice and account queries, collaborating with internal teams for quick resolution.
• Produce and analyse aged debt reports and keep key stakeholders informed.
• Support cash allocation, reconciliation and month‑end reporting activities.
• Contribute to finance projects and help integrate new business units into the finance function.

Required profile

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Comfortable having difficult conversations while staying professional and customer‑focused.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a busy environment.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
