Credit Controller – Sage Line 50/200 – £34k – Dover

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Credit Controller to join a growing, well‑established company in Dover. This permanent, office‑based role involves managing customer accounts, overseeing payments and supporting month‑end reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain customer accounts
• Oversee monthly payment collections and reduce aged debt
• Record and allocate incoming payments
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Resolve invoice queries and payment disputes efficiently
• Update monthly ledgers accurately
• Review held orders and monitor credit limits
• Support month‑end procedures and reporting
• Process credit applications and create new accounts
• Liaise with internal departments

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Credit Control position
• Experience with Sage Line 50 or Sage Line 200 (essential)
• Collaborative team player with a positive, can‑do attitude
• Professional and confident communication skills
• Self‑motivated with a proactive approach
• Strong IT skills
