Credit Officer – Mid Corporate Banking

About the role

Join the Mid Corporate Credit team to assess and structure credit solutions for UK‑based businesses with revenues between £25m and £500m. You will work closely with coverage, product partners and relationship managers to deliver sustainable financing that supports both client growth and the bank’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent credit assessments, analysing company data, market research and cash‑flow models to prepare submissions for sanctioning.
• Liaise with originators, relationship managers and product partners to shape structured credit proposals and maintain an appropriate risk‑reward balance.
• Monitor credit exposures, flag risk profile changes and ensure compliance with Lloyds Banking Group and regulatory policies.
• Undertake sector and market research to add external perspective to credit decisions.
• Exercise delegated Credit Authority where applicable and maintain accurate records for internal and statutory reporting.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate financial statements and market data.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Attention to detail and sound judgement in risk assessment.
