Credit Risk Solution Architect

About the role

We are supporting a fast‑growing financial services organisation in London with an interim Credit Risk Solution Architect on a contract basis. The role is hybrid, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work, and focuses on designing robust, scalable, and auditable credit‑risk solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into high‑quality solution architectures, producing logical and physical diagrams, integration patterns and data flows.
• Evaluate build‑vs‑buy options and lead technical assessments of software, platforms and cloud services.
• Support project mobilisation by establishing tooling, cloud environments, engineering standards and delivery patterns.
• Provide architectural guidance to delivery and IT‑Security teams, reviewing designs, code and configurations for compliance with enterprise standards.
• Drive architectural governance, ensuring traceability, documentation accuracy and ISO 27001 compliance.
• Incorporate AI/ML considerations such as data lineage, model integration and feature management into solution designs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in solution architecture within financial services or credit‑risk domains.
• Strong ability to work with business, IT and security stakeholders to assess and shape technical solutions.
• Experience delivering scalable, reusable components and influencing product road‑maps.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks, particularly ISO 27001.
