Criminal Litigation Solicitor – London

About the role

Our client, a top‑tier law firm in the City, is expanding its Criminal Litigation department. They seek an experienced solicitor to manage a diverse caseload ranging from minor traffic offences to serious fraud and murder, covering all court levels up to the Supreme Court.

Key responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of Police Station, Magistrates Court and Crown Court matters.
• Attend police stations and courts to represent clients.
• Develop business through proactive networking and marketing activities.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Qualified UK solicitor with at least 6 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven ability to handle a full caseload independently.
• Experience with both legal‑aid and private clients.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Lexcel compliance (desirable).
