About the role
We are seeking a Criminal Solicitor to join a mid‑Essex law firm that works exclusively with privately funded clients. The role is not part of the standard duty rota, offering a client‑focused out‑of‑office schedule that supports a healthy work‑life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a variety of criminal matters for privately funded clients.
- Attend police stations, magistrates’ courts and Crown Courts as required.
- Provide legal advice to individuals who have been arrested or are under investigation.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor with experience in criminal law.
- Comfortable working with privately funded clients and managing out‑of‑office rota expectations.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain client service standards.
