Crisis Support Worker – Children (Bristol)

About the role
We are looking for a resilient Crisis Support Worker to provide immediate, person‑centred care for vulnerable children in Patchway and the North Bristol border. You will create a stable, reassuring environment for young people facing emotional challenges and help them develop daily life skills.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver person‑centred care that encourages independence and daily life skills.
- Manage risk by safely handling verbal and physical aggression using positive behavioural support frameworks.
- Maintain accurate daily records to ensure compliance and support therapy teams.
- Provide structure and reassurance during moments of distress.
- Support young people in crisis settings, offering stability and safety.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 months paid UK support work experience in care.
- Calm, empathetic and structured approach to supporting young people.
- UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred for placement locations.
- Flexibility to work on‑site in Patchway and surrounding North Bristol areas.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
