Critical Care Staff Nurse (Band 5)

About the role

Join a supportive, multi‑disciplinary Critical Care team at Fairfield (Bury) and develop your career as a Band 5 Staff Nurse. You will receive a comprehensive induction, competency booklet and face‑to‑face training from our practice education team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic, patient‑centred care in a high‑acuity Critical Care environment.
• Collaborate with an experienced MDT to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Participate in ongoing education programmes and competency assessments.
• Undertake a post‑registration qualification in Critical Care accredited by Manchester Metropolitan University.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (NMC‑registered) with a genuine interest in Critical Care.
• Ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and eager to learn.
