Critical Process Technician

About the role

Lotus UK Manufacturing is seeking a Critical Process Technician for its Facilities Department at the Hethel manufacturing plant. The role works night shifts (21:00‑07:00) Monday‑Thursday, reporting to the Critical Process Supervisor, and is responsible for maintaining paint, quality and SHE standards, changing filters and keeping the area clean.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Critical Process Supervisor by delivering cleaning and filter‑change tasks on time, within budget and to high quality standards.
• Supervise and guide other operators and the Churchill Cleaning Services staff.
• Maintain Lotus paint‑shop processes and procedures.
• Ensure all operators follow Lotus Health and Safety management systems.
• Assist the Robot Technician with basic maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) records.
• Highlight and report abnormalities promptly.
• Audit spray booths to verify correct time and temperature settings.
• Adhere to safety procedures, permits to work and related protocols.
