Crypto Quant Researcher/Trader – London

About the role

We are partnering with a systematic hedge fund that is expanding its crypto team. The successful candidate will research and deploy high‑frequency or market‑making strategies across CeFi and DeFi venues, managing their own trading book while collaborating with a team of quantitative researchers and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Research and design quantitative strategies for crypto markets, both centralized and decentralized.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure, tools, and pipelines required for strategy execution.
• Implement, back‑test, and manage live trading models.
• Oversee a personal trading book and contribute to the performance of the overall portfolio.
• Mentor and lead junior quantitative team members.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quantitative research or trading, preferably with market‑making or central risk‑book exposure.
• Experience with digital assets is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) from a top university is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong programming ability in Python.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages is a plus.
