CSCS Labourer – Offload & Position Goods

About the role

Responsive Personnel is partnering with a leading site‑service company to recruit CSCS‑qualified labourers for permanent positions across new‑build sites in the South East. The role involves physically demanding work, off‑loading and positioning a variety of goods on construction sites, with start times as early as 6 am, Monday‑Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Meet delivery vehicles at assigned sites and off‑load goods such as kitchen units, worktops, furniture, and bedroom items.
• Position items accurately within houses or flats according to site plans.
• Take photographic evidence of completed installations to confirm successful delivery.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site teams and clients.
• Maintain safety and efficiency throughout the workday, starting as early as 6 am, Monday‑Friday.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS card (CITB certified) and ability to work on construction sites.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items.
• Reliable, punctual, presentable and able to provide excellent customer service.
• Willingness to travel up to two hours from home.
• Availability to attend a paid five‑day training course before starting.

Required skills

• Understanding of site safety procedures and PPE usage.

What we offer

• Daily pay of £100‑£140.
• Paid training (£400) plus fuel allowance of £0.25 per mile.
