Culture & Engagement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Culture & Engagement Specialist to join a leading professional services organisation in Bristol on a 6‑to‑12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, you will help shape a values‑led environment, boost employee engagement and champion Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and wellbeing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the specialist for people strategy and employee engagement.
• Design and deliver engagement programmes that reinforce organisational culture.
• Develop and implement EDI and wellbeing strategies.
• Translate organisational values into practical initiatives.
• Coach managers to become effective culture ambassadors.
• Collaborate with People Business Partners to use HR data for strategic decisions.
• Measure culture through pulse surveys, feedback and KPIs, identifying trends and risks.
• Partner with Communications to craft internal messages that reinforce culture.

Required profile

• Significant experience in senior HR, Culture, Engagement, Organisational Development or People Experience roles.
• Proven track record of delivering culture, engagement or OD initiatives.
• Experience creating and operationalising EDI and wellbeing strategies.
• Confidence using people data to influence strategic decisions.
• Strong understanding of employee engagement, culture change and organisational development.
• Excellent project‑management and organisational skills.
