Curriculum Writer – Apprenticeship Product Manager

About the role

The Curriculum Writer – Apprenticeship Product Manager will join Davies Learning Solutions to design, develop and maintain apprenticeship, skills‑bootcamp and commercial learning products. Working from home in the West Midlands, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Product Manager and the Learning Experience team to create digitally‑enabled curricula that meet Department for Education standards and support client on‑the‑job learning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop curricula, course blueprints and delivery models for apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps, High‑Impact Training (6‑16 week) courses, digital Study Solutions and CPD programmes.
• Maintain and improve the product portfolio by monitoring competitor activity, regulatory changes and product lifecycle stages.
• Own a caseload of products, track performance metrics and resolve performance issues in partnership with cross‑functional teams.
• Conduct regular assessments against product checklists to ensure compliance with Off‑The‑Job learning evidence requirements.
• Collaborate with the Learning Experience team to create engaging, digitally‑enabled learning resources and pathways.

Required profile

• Proven experience in curriculum design or product management within the education, insurance or financial services sectors.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset to evaluate product performance and market trends.
• Willingness to travel quarterly to London for meetings and workshops.

Required skills

• Experience with Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) and ePortfolio systems.
