Customer Application Specialist

About the role

As a Customer Application Specialist you will be the friendly voice guiding families through the final stage of their life‑insurance application. Based in Leeds city centre, you will work on a shift pattern that includes a £3,000 uplift, helping customers complete their applications accurately and stress‑free.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers by phone to walk them through life‑insurance applications.
• Ask and record sensitive medical and personal information with empathy and professionalism.
• Enter data accurately across multiple insurer online systems.
• Maintain detailed notes to keep advisers, insurers and customers fully informed.
• Manage your diary to ensure timely follow‑up and a high‑quality customer experience.
• Build positive relationships with customers, advisers and insurer partners.
• Continuously develop product knowledge through training, coaching and quality feedback.

• Excellent verbal communication and a genuine desire to help people.
• Organised, proactive and able to handle a busy workload.
• Calm under pressure, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering accurate work.
• Comfortable discussing sensitive information with empathy.
• Enthusiastic about learning new systems and developing skills.
