About the role
We are looking for a Customer Assistant – Operations to join our Exmouth Royal Avenue Foodhall team. In this behind‑the‑scenes role you will keep the store running smoothly by handling stock, deliveries and ensuring the shop floor is always ready for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and unload deliveries, operate relevant mechanical equipment safely.
- Stock shelves, replenish the shop floor and maintain a clean, organised environment.
- Use digital tools to track deliveries, monitor inventory levels and update stock information.
- Support other store areas as needed, adapting quickly to changing priorities and schedules.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met, including the 18‑plus age requirement for equipment operation.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to work in a high‑intensity, fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible with working hours, including early‑morning deliveries and late‑day stock moves.
- Team‑oriented, willing to collaborate across different store functions.
- Digitally confident and comfortable using handheld inventory systems.
- At least 18 years old to comply with health‑and‑safety legislation.
