Customer Assistant – Part‑time (20 hrs) Edinburgh

About the role

Join BUZZ Bingo’s Meadowbank Club as a Customer Assistant on a flexible 20‑hour per week contract. You’ll be the friendly face of the club, delivering exceptional service to guests while supporting a safe and enjoyable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers and provide personalised assistance across the club.
• Assist with front‑of‑house duties, ticket sales, treasury, bar, kitchen and general housekeeping.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, including cleanliness of public areas and toilets.
• Support the line manager with additional tasks as needed.
• Promote responsible gambling and ensure compliance with company policies both on‑site and online.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Experience delivering first‑class, face‑to‑face customer service, preferably in hospitality, retail or leisure.
• Strong communication skills adaptable to different situations.
• Confidence in handling cash and basic numeracy.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to challenge processes when necessary.
