Customer Base Manager

About the role

Truespeed is expanding its full‑fibre broadband network across the South West and needs a Customer Base Manager to boost retention, increase customer value and deliver smarter communications throughout the customer lifecycle. This hands‑on CRM and customer‑marketing role will own campaigns from early engagement through renewal and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage and optimise CRM campaigns using HubSpot or a similar platform.
• Create automated, triggered customer journeys covering renewals, end‑of‑contract messages, upsell/cross‑sell and engagement.
• Write clear, engaging customer communications and improve performance through testing and optimisation.
• Monitor campaign results and use data insights to enhance engagement and reduce churn.
• Support customer‑lifecycle marketing activities and identify churn‑reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Data & Analytics and Technical teams to improve experience and campaign effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a CRM, customer‑marketing or email‑marketing role, managing campaigns from planning to delivery.
• Hands‑on experience with a CRM platform such as HubSpot, including workflows, automations and campaign delivery.
• Experience with customer‑lifecycle marketing, segmentation and data‑driven optimisation.
• Strong copywriting skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
• Experience in telecoms, broadband, subscription services or a similar customer‑lifecycle business is a plus.
