Customer Care Coordinator – Construction Services

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Care Coordinator to join our established dry‑lining contractor in Milton Keynes. The role combines front‑line customer interaction with the coordination of defect remediation across multiple occupied sites. You will work within a supportive team and enjoy hybrid working once you are fully trained.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer‑care defects from initial instruction through to final completion.
• Schedule patchers and operatives across several sites and occupied properties.
• Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, quantity surveyors and homeowners.
• Coordinate appointments and maintain regular communication with residents.
• Prepare quotations for remedial and chargeable works.
• Process variation orders and monitor approval status.
• Track labour, material and commercial costs.
• Maintain internal Excel trackers, reporting systems and weekly/monthly performance reports.
• Order materials, arrange collections and manage site documentation, photographs and records.
• Assist with resolving customer complaints promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction customer care.
• Strong administration background with accurate record‑keeping.
• Confident use of Excel, Outlook and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and written communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Comfortable interacting with site staff, contractors and residents.
• Professional, customer‑focused attitude.
