Customer Care Operative – Carpentry & Drylining

About the role
The Customer Care Operative will carry out carpentry and basic dry‑lining remedial tasks on new‑build projects across the South West. This is a permanent, full‑time position working a 40‑hour week, starting as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Perform carpentry remedials such as fitting doors, skirting boards, architraves and related joinery.
- Carry out basic dry‑lining repairs on both occupied and vacant properties.
- Travel to multiple sites across Devon and the wider South West, maintaining an organised diary.
- Use personal tools and transport to complete assignments efficiently.
Required profile
- Possession of a valid CSCS card (blue or gold preferred).
- Own tools and reliable transport.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage travel schedules.
Required skills
- Carpentry remedial work.
- Basic dry‑lining techniques.
What we offer
- Competitive rate of £20 per hour.
- Mileage reimbursement – 55p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, then 25p per mile.
