Customer Consultant – Retail Sales

About the role

Join The Body Shop’s store team as a Customer Consultant, delivering exceptional service and helping shoppers discover ethical beauty products. You’ll work on the shop floor, supporting the management team to meet sales and profit targets while embodying the brand’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting products that match their needs and preferences.
• Provide knowledgeable advice on product ingredients, origins, and Community Trade programmes.
• Maintain visual standards and ensure the store environment reflects the brand’s ethical ethos.
• Support the store manager in achieving daily sales and profit objectives.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for beauty and retail.
• Excellent communication and listening abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holiday shifts.
