Customer Delivery Driver – Glasgow St Rollox Extra

About the role

As the face of Tesco on the road, you will bring customers their groceries directly to their homes across the St Rollox area. The role combines driving, customer interaction and physical handling of orders, offering a varied day‑to‑day experience.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised to ensure orders arrive in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and perform all pre‑delivery checks to guarantee roadworthiness.
• Communicate any order changes, substitutions or short‑dated items to customers in a friendly manner and process refunds when required.
• Handle products with care, treating each order as if it were your own.
• Deliver within the customer’s chosen time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep.

Required profile

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships with colleagues.
• Friendly, welcoming attitude towards customers and team members.
• Flexibility to respond quickly to changing customer needs.

• Hourly pay starting at £14.18, rising to £15.45 in certain locations.
• Minimum 16 hours per week (roles from 12 hours also available).
