Customer Delivery Driver – Oxford

About the role

As a Customer Delivery Driver for Tesco’s Oxford Superstore you will be the face of the company, delivering groceries directly to customers’ homes across the South East. The role offers flexible full‑time hours with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and the opportunity to work between 12 and 40 hours depending on your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Collect orders from the Oxford store and deliver them safely to customers within the allocated time windows.
• Provide friendly, professional service and assist customers with any delivery queries.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues to the base team.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and complies with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid UK driving licence and clean driving record.
• Ability to work the advertised availability windows and adapt to shift patterns.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of grocery orders.

Required skills

• Safe driving practices.
• Basic navigation and route planning.

What we offer

• Hourly rate starting at £14.18, rising to £15.45 for stores inside the M25.
• Minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week, with the option to work as few as 12 hours.
