Customer Delivery Driver – Part‑time (Middlesbrough)

About the role

Join ASDA’s store team as a Customer Delivery Driver, delivering groceries straight to customers’ doors across Middlesbrough. Working part‑time, you’ll be the face of the brand, ensuring a friendly, reliable service while keeping your van ready for the next route.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and organise orders in the delivery van.
• Deliver parcels to customers, providing a courteous and professional service.
• Maintain a clean and road‑worthy vehicle, following safety procedures.
• Assist the store team with picking and packing online orders during busy periods.
• Accurately record deliveries and handle any customer queries on‑site.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Team player who supports colleagues and adapts to shifting priorities.
• Reliable and punctual, taking pride in delivering a high‑standard service.
• Positive energy and willingness to learn new processes.
• Flexible to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Required skills

• Valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) held for at least 12 months with no more than six penalty points.
