Customer Delivery Van Driver – Home Delivery

About the role

Join Bensons for Beds as a Customer Delivery Van Driver and enjoy a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with no weekend work. You will deliver beds, mattresses and furniture directly to customers' homes, assemble items where required, and represent the brand with a friendly, professional attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver beds, mattresses and furniture safely to customers' homes.
• Assemble products in the room of the customer's choice.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service on every delivery.
• Work as part of a two‑person delivery team.
• Use a handheld PDA to manage and record deliveries.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and drive responsibly.
• Uphold the Bensons for Beds brand standards.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (must be 21 years or older).
• Previous experience driving a commercial van (preferred).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and strong teamwork orientation.
• Confidence in lifting and manoeuvring heavy furniture (manual handling experience required).
