Customer Experience Advisor – Retail Banking (Aberdeen)

About the role

Join Santander’s Aberdeen branch as a Customer Experience Advisor, delivering friendly, knowledgeable service to retail banking customers. You will work on a rota basis, handling transactions, queries and fraud protection while supporting the branch’s customer‑centric transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers in the branch or over the phone.
• Assist with day‑to‑day transactions, queries and servicing.
• Answer customer calls into the contact centre and build relationships.
• Develop knowledge of Santander’s products and services to help customers.
• Identify new ways to improve the customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a face‑to‑face or telephony environment.
• Effective communication skills to understand customer needs.
• Willingness to go above‑and‑beyond for customers (preferred).
• Team‑working attitude with a flexible, can‑do approach (preferred).
• Openness to a broad range of activities beyond standard expectations (preferred).
• Ability to adapt and change with business priorities (preferred).

• Starting salary of £25,000 plus a £500 flexible benefit allowance and up to an 8% discretionary bonus.
