Customer Experience Advisor – Retail Banking (Ayr)

About the role

Join Santander’s Ayr branch as a Customer Experience Advisor, supporting retail banking customers both in‑person and over the phone. You will be the friendly face and voice of the bank, helping clients with everyday transactions, technology assistance, and fraud protection.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers in the branch or via telephone.
• Process day‑to‑day cash transactions, account queries and service requests.
• Answer inbound calls to the contact centre and provide accurate information.
• Build relationships with customers and identify solutions to meet their needs.
• Continuously develop knowledge of Santander’s products and services.
• Suggest improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work flexibly on a rota covering Monday to Saturday, 8 am‑6 pm.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑skill environment.
