Customer Experience Advisor – Retail Banking (Twinned Branches)

About the role

Santander is seeking a Customer Experience Advisor to work across its twinned Wellingborough and Kettering branches. The part‑time role (21 hours per week) runs on a rotating schedule Monday to Saturday, covering both locations. You will be the friendly face and voice of the bank, helping customers with transactions, technology, phone enquiries and fraud protection.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers in‑branch and over the phone.
• Assist with day‑to‑day transactions, queries and servicing.
• Answer customer calls routed to the contact centre.
• Build relationships and find solutions to customer needs.
• Develop knowledge of Santander’s products and services.
• Identify and suggest improvements to the customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a face‑to‑face or telephony environment.
• Strong communication skills to understand and respond to customer needs.
• Desire to go above and beyond for customers (preferred).
• Flexible, team‑oriented attitude with a can‑do approach (preferred).

• Starting salary £25,000 plus a £500 flexible benefit allowance and up to an 8 % performance‑related bonus.
