Customer Experience Consultant – Retail Banking (Lewisham)

About the role

As a Customer Experience Consultant in Lewisham, you will be the friendly face and voice of Santander, helping customers with everyday banking transactions, digital services and fraud protection. You will work 35 hours a week on a rotating schedule across the branch and contact centre.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to, understand and anticipate customers’ financial needs, offering suitable solutions.
• Present a range of products and services with a digital‑first focus.
• Answer inbound customer calls and assist with transactions in the banking hall.
• Develop meaningful relationships and support customers’ short‑term and long‑term goals.
• Contribute to making Santander simple and accessible for both colleagues and customers.

Required profile

• Experience in listening to and addressing customers’ financial needs.
• Proven ability to present product options and handle digital banking enquiries.
• Experience answering customer calls in a contact‑centre environment.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and a collaborative approach.
