Customer Experience Team Member (Student Housing)

About the role

As a Customer Experience Team Member you will be the friendly face of Unite Students, creating a warm, safe and inclusive environment for residents. Working from the Grand Central reception you will support students throughout their stay, from first‑day welcomes to resolving everyday issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide front‑of‑house reception service and build strong rapport with students.
• Respond quickly to student feedback, directing them to appropriate support.
• Assist sales efforts by conducting flat viewings, answering enquiries and representing the brand at university and housing events.
• Help deliver community‑building events in partnership with Resident Ambassadors.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well‑kept environment for residents.
• Coordinate with day and night teams to ensure seamless handovers.
• Identify and act on wellbeing or welfare concerns, supporting students in need.
• Uphold Unite Students’ CARE principles – Connect, Act, Respect, Encourage.

Required profile

• Positive mindset with curiosity, openness to learning and a drive to make a difference.
• Excellent customer‑service attitude, preferably with hospitality or retail experience.
• Warm, caring and approachable communication style.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to doing what’s right and supporting others.
