Customer Implementation Engineer – Remote (UK/US)

About the role

We are looking for a technically strong Customer Implementation Engineer to join the Technical Watershed product team. The role is fully remote and supports customers primarily in North America, requiring flexible working hours to cover US business days.

Key responsibilities

• Build and configure connections between Watershed and client systems to meet each client’s goals.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, API integrations, and automation scripts.
• Perform data analysis, create dashboards and reports using Watershed’s reporting platform.
• Consult with clients on best practices, learning data ecosystems, and provide technical support.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, collaborate with the product team, and influence product improvements.
• Automate repetitive workflows using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Occasionally contribute updates to Watershed’s core product.
• Represent the company publicly, build client relationships, and identify expansion opportunities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on programming experience, preferably with Python and Java.
• 3+ years in a client‑facing SaaS implementation or data‑analytics role.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Willingness to travel internationally for client implementations and training.
