Customer Insight Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Insight Analyst to turn rich customer and patient data into actionable commercial insight. Working within a regulated, service‑led organisation, you will influence marketing strategy, customer experience and commercial performance. The role is hybrid, based in Lancashire, with three days per week on site.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse CRM, POS, digital and survey data to uncover behavioural trends and growth opportunities.
• Support campaign targeting and optimisation through segmentation, cohort analysis and predictive insight.
• Develop dashboards linking customer behaviour to commercial KPIs such as conversion, retention and lifetime value.
• Lead analysis of satisfaction and advocacy data using sentiment and key‑driver techniques.
• Deliver clear, executive‑ready insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Partner with marketing, operations and product teams to improve lifecycle communications and service delivery.
• Ensure GDPR and data‑governance standards are met in all analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience in customer insight, CRM analytics or lifecycle analysis.
• Proven ability to work with multi‑channel CRM data (email, SMS, direct marketing).
• Experience translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate across marketing, operations and product functions.

Required skills

• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Python for data analysis and modelling.
• Power BI or Tableau for visualisation and dashboard creation.
• Experience with BI tools and data visualisation.
