Customer Integration Data Transformation Specialist

About the role

The Customer Integration function of NIQ Brandbank manages the suite of Brandbank and Etilize solutions and their service levels, ensuring digital product content reaches internal teams, stakeholders, customers and the industry. The Client Integration Data Transformation Specialist supports the deployment of new and updated services, manages standard and custom data feeds, creates custom Excel extracts and integrates with GS1 data platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke integrations, client-specific or GDSN, and support data mapping, testing and deployment
• Manage inbound and outbound projects, meeting milestones and collaborating with project managers
• Keep up to date with Nielsen Brandbank and local GDSN data models and capture rules
• Work with consultants and developers to build and test patches and changes
• Build data transformation logic, identify test scenarios and create test data
• Maintain data quality through quality control measures for the NBB Product Library, GDSN Connector and retailer sites
• Advise suppliers and retailers on data integration and transformation best practices
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients and internal teams

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management or a related field
• Proven experience in complex data transformation and mapping
• Flexible availability to UK working hours, out-of-hours work and domestic or international travel
• Effective verbal and written communication in English and the local language

Required skills

• Managing and configuring standard and custom data feeds, including Excel extracts
• Familiarity with GS1 and GDSN standards
• Data formats: XML, JSON, CSV and Excel
• Data quality assurance and quality control
