Customer Operations Advisor (Stores & Service)

About the role

Join the team as a Customer Operations Advisor, responsible for both stores and customer service functions in a highly regulated, health‑and‑safety focused environment. You will manage stock movements and act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, ensuring smooth operations and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check, store and issue stock following company procedures (≈50% of time).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control activities.
• Keep the stores area clean, organised and compliant with health‑and‑safety standards.
• Identify and report stock discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and stakeholders, handling enquiries, requests and issues professionally (≈50% of time).
• Collaborate with wider teams to meet operational and service requirements.
• Participate in regular health‑and‑safety audits, raise concerns and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or logistics environment.
• Demonstrable customer service experience.
• Strong awareness of health‑and‑safety responsibilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work flexibly.
• Reliable, organised and able to balance operational and service tasks.
