Customer Relationship Manager – Key Account Role

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Relationship Manager to join a busy Client Services team within the commercial grounds maintenance sector. You will be the primary liaison for key clients, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of key clients.
• Coordinate service delivery, ensuring timely and professional execution.
• Act as the main communication link between clients and internal operational teams.
• Handle client queries, resolve issues, and manage complaints.
• Provide financial information, prepare reports, and support the finance function.
• Obtain supplier quotations, raise purchase orders, and prepare client quotations.
• Manage contract information and keep records up‑to‑date in the internal SiteOps system.
• Analyse data and produce internal and external reports.
• Support health and safety compliance and act as key holder, fire warden, and first aider when required.

Required profile

• Experience in sales, account management, or customer‑focused solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Confident problem‑solving and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• GCSE or equivalent qualification preferred; previous account management experience is a plus.
