Customer Relationship Manager (Partner Funds)

About the role

The Customer Relationship Manager will be the primary liaison between Border to Coast and a portfolio of Partner Funds representing local government pension schemes. Based in Leeds with three days a week in the office, you will help shape the experience of our customers over an 18‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned Partner Funds, understanding their objectives, priorities and governance structures.
• Represent Border to Coast at pension committees, officer meetings and other governance forums, providing updates and supporting effective oversight.
• Collaborate with Advisory, Investments, Operations and other internal teams to coordinate delivery of a high‑quality Partner Fund experience.
• Drive customer engagement on new capabilities, propositions and strategic initiatives, ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Organise and support training sessions, workshops and other engagement activities for fund officers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in relationship management within the pensions, finance or public‑sector environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal departments.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
